Modern Shower Room
– Practical modern bathroom with geometric tiles and walk-in shower.
Battledown, Cheltenham Nov 2020
This client had a clear vision for their ideal bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The striking patterned floor tiles were continued into the shower and up the walls, giving a greater sense of space. A great idea for smaller bathrooms. The recessed shelves and wall niches reflected the same idea, bringing unity to the whole room.
We raised the main floor level of the whole bathroom to ensure a better slope towards the shower, allowing the water to drain effectively and avoid pooling water, which can be an issue in poorly designed wet rooms.
Eclectic Master Bathroom
– Elegant master bathroom
Montpellier Grove, Cheltenham Oct 2019
This project was made for L’una Design. The clients wanted to update their old-fashioned bathroom into a sophisticated modern bathroom.
The room was completely redesigned, moving the toilet, shower, sink and bath into new locations, requiring new plumbing throughout.
We used an old fireplace chimney breast to create a recessed, mirrored, wall cabinet
Floor joists were planed and straightened to achieve a perfect level finish.
We used white resin grout which is stain and mould resistant and can be easily wiped clean to look as good as new. On the walls we used a bold blue waterproof paint, in place of tiles, for a sleek eclectic look.
Roundhouse Bathroom
– Unique Artisanal Bathroom
Veryan, Cornwall, Dec 2019
A Project for L’una Design.
For their home in a beautiful village on the Roseland Peninsula, these clients wanted to create a unique, peaceful space in their bathroom that transported them to the seaside.
Beneath their old bath we discovered a void that was probably once used for a jacuzzi pump. It had access through an outer wall so we were able to use the space to place a waste pipe, enabling the clients to have their dream cast iron bath, and suspended wall toilet, with the plumbing all tucked neatly away under the floor.
The distressed tiles on the floor and walls added to the seaside theme and complimented the beautiful mural, painted by a local artist.
